I Love September

Posted by 2 on

Am I the only one out there who’s glad it’s September? I’m not saying I’m pleased summer is over but there’s something exciting about the arrival of Fall each year. My energy is way up, there’s a spring in my step, and I feel ready to take on the world (or at least my part of it). For example, I’ve been procrastinating over the growing to-do list piling up on my desk during the summer … well I started tackling it this morning with renewed vigor. I’m about to launch 2 new Animal helmet cover designs … an adorable Moose and a ‘cuter than cute’ Pink Poodle with pink bows in her hair/fur. By the way, if anyone has any name suggestions for these designs, I’d love to hear your ideas. My Fall marketplace events start up again in one week and will keep me hopping across the province until Christmas. If you want to know where Tail Wags will be, there’s a complete list of marketplace events on the Tail Wags web site. Of course, by the time the holidays roll around, I’ll be completely wiped out. The 10-day “One of a Kind” event that starts at the end of November leaves me feeling comatose for one week afterwards. The days are long (10 am to 9 pm every day) and my booth is swamped the entire time with customers. Obviously I’m not complaining but I think a holiday would be a good idea after these events wrap up! What about you? What’s your favourite season?

  • Dear Lisa,
Where in the mountains are you? I can only imagine the view in the Fall from your living room window! Thanks for stopping by my blog site and leaving a comment!

  • I love the fall, because it means things will start to cool off. We can open the windows and the nights start getting chilly. It also means I have my kids birthdays back to back followed by Thanksgiving and Christmas…lots to do and very little time to do it in!

We are in the mountains and the visual of the trees changing colors is breathtaking!

  • I agree with the love of fall.. I enjoy it because of the colors and the cooler evenings.

  • Life is too short to feel guilty about eating cookie dough! I can’t imagine the heat and humidity in Texas. It’s been hot and humid in Toronto in August but I’m sure it doesn’t compare to Texas. Hopefully, Hermine will be the only hurricane near the Gulf this year. Goodness knows those residents have suffered enough this year. Thanks for visiting my site and posting a comment.
