Living in the NOW!

Never leave that till tomorrow which you can do today. (author: Benjamin Franklin) My dad spent the last several years of his life waiting for his retirement and he loved to talk about what he would do when he finally hit the magic age of 60 years old. His aim was to finish building the solar panels he designed, construct the 2-seater ultra light airplane he invented, find more time to paint (he was an artist), and become even fitter (he was already in good shape for a man in his late 50’s). My dad’s dreams sustained him. In fact,...

Passion is Contagious!

During a recent conference on e-commerce and entrepreneurs, I was asked what qualities I consider essential in entrepreneurs and the first thing that came to mind was “passion”. It’s not good for business when you don’t answer your phone.” He then left me his phone number and, of course, I returned his call immediately. What surprised me was he had not left any voice messages previously. I pride myself on answering all calls promptly and would never NOT return a call. Interestingly, when I reached him,...

My Big Stinker Skunk Day

Posted by 2 on

Hope you don't mind if I share a testimonial with you that was written by a friend/customer, Christy Cook (President of TeachMy.com). I just thought what she had to say was delightful: It’s not every day I dress up as a Big Stinker Skunk ... And, no, it wasn’t Halloween! On my son’s school ski day, I decided to shake things up a bit by wearing a Tail Wags Skunk helmet cover and the reactions I got from the students, other parent volunteers, teachers and total strangers were hilarious. Of course, there were the usual “pee-ewe” comments but there were...
