I started out on my usual walk with the dogs this morning at the local golf course. It's a fairly steep hill so I'm always careful to watch out for ice but, this morning, I didn't see it coming. Sure enough, my legs went straight out from under me and I took the full force of the fall on my head against the concrete! As I'm laying there, I'm running the signs of a concussion checklist through my mind: Loss of consciousness Seizure or convulsion Headache Dizziness Blurred vision Amnesia "pressure in head" Neck pain Balance problems Sensitivity to light...
