Reading this blog post about Tail Wags Helmet Covers was music to my ears: Thanks Lindsay Follett!!! Could kids’ protective gear get any cuter?  Hats, or rather helmets, off to Karyn Climans for designing the Tail Wags products which are ridiculously appealing to kids and make life a whole lot easier for parents. If you are going to survive the long and cold months of winter, you need to play outside. Tobogganing, skiing, snowboarding and skating are just a few of the great winter sports that will keep you and your children active and help the winter months fly by!   I was saddened to read the article in Today’s Parent indicating that some cities are considering the ban of tobogganing on city slopes although I understand why there is concern. Are you a good role model for your children? Do you believe in practicing what you preach? It's common knowledge for our kids to emulate what they see us doing - monkey see, monkey do! Ontario Track 3

Ontario Track 3 is a charitable organization near and dear to my heart. After raising 2 special needs sons, I know 1st hand the struggles these kids go through. In particular, physically disabled people rarely get the chance to "soar" in sports and Ontario Track 3 enables them to try a sport that would otherwise be off-limits. As many of you know, I LOVE the sport of skiing and I'm always delighted when I see the Ontario Track 3 volunteers working with the kids on the slopes.
